Today, I'm behind in answering an email to Robin Lynn's group home manager. The group home operator, days before her discharge date, has been running here there - everywhere continuing to contaminate her records with "attention seeking behavioral falls". They were doing this as DDS allowed them to self investigate "claims of medical neglect resulting in the injury of Robin Lynn", and have increased their effort in almost a frenzy of running her to this doctor and that one, but never taking a step back, and looking at the reality of what they have done. Is it a test of whether the guardian will allow it to continue? Do they hope I'll say no, and hope someone views it as a failure to serve as a guardian? I won't be tested and agree to ridiculous medical tests that they hope will prove their agenda or at least look like they care, and make Robin Lynn more of a victim while abusing our Medicaid and Medicare system. Looks that way to me.!
Now, the group home operator would like me to approve a two week heart monitor for Robin, to be ordered by this terrifying travesty, the notorious neurologist Dr. "T". They've shared the report from her latest visit, and just what their staff reporters of seizures - or behavioral attention seeking falls, have brought to the doctor's attention. Not only that, but the good doctor reports that based on what the cardiac test reveals, that he may need to send her to Yale. Will they, and he, ever stop? Well I have an answer, as to what the guardian thinks, regardless of how they view me. I'll share it with DDS at the same time via email as soon as I can.
I'll share it here, and now. Group Home Operator, and DDS,
I'm surprised at this date, after
*two probate court hearings resulting in findings that the group home operator had no proof of behavioral falls and were to clean up her records,
*the group home operator being allowed to self investigate "medical neglect resulting in the injury of Robin Lynn",
*a second claim,
*a third claim of re-injury, and
*verification of permanent disfiguration from the first claim, and
*the group home operator's retaliative discharge during their self investigation,
that you would assume that I would trust either party, or this particular doctor to continue to try and throw more on his contaminated files, at Robin Lynn's expense - physically and emotionally.
No more of these questionable moves until the guardian receives the following:
*I have requested the day reports of falls from both the group home, and the group home operator's day program. I had been receiving them until the questionable activities of November 15, 2017 (my last report), and been denied them by the group home operator since, in writing.
*I will need to be provided the reports of Dr. S, for all the time he has served as Robin Lynn's physician. As guardian, I requested these reports in writing with proper guardianship papers attached, in March 2018, certified mail, return receipt. The receipt was returned as received at his office. I called, and had to leave a message, asking a return call as to when they would be provided, and never received a return call. My letter to him, stated that should there be expense that I'd provide my credit card, and should there be additional documentation required to please contact me, and I would provide it. I'll need the records, and I ask that DDS, and the group home operator, request that he prepare a report now, that reviews the falls, and whether his increase of medication after the court hearing in September 2017, that is known to cause instability in movement, may be responsible for more falls since that date. Please advise, when I can expect this documentation, before I am expected to make an informed decision regarding Dr. "T"'s tests.
*I will need for DDS and the group home operator to to go to Robin Lynn's OB/GYN doctor and ask for a review of the effect of removing Robin Lynn's long standing Deppo shot. The group home operator's staff took her to this doctor with concerns that the shot which can in some individuals, cause instability in movement resulting in falls. She has been without the shot for three months, and she is dismayed at the return of her monthly cycles, and by my count noted on my home calendar, has sustained more falls, and some with severe injury. I have to rely on my calendar as the group home operator refuses my rights as guardian to have these daily reports. Please provide me with the doctor's review, and recommendation as to whether she can return to receiving the shot.
*I am requesting that DDS and the group home operator provide me the complete records of Dr. P, orthopedic, who designs Robin Lynn's braces, injects shots into her left leg, and arm, etc. In March 2018 he and I had a lengthy discussion about the effects of aging on cerebral palsy. He told me at that point that as long as Robin walks she will have falls. He noted changing gait, and balance problems that could be contributors to her falls, and also reminded staff to use gait belts, etc. to avoid falls when she appears to be unstable. Please ask that he also prepare an overview of Robin's cerebral palsy today, and how it might be causing some of her falls, fear of more falls "I will fall", etc. Please provide me the review, and documents noted above.
Once I, or my designee receive this information requested above, and review it, I can make an informed decision about how to proceed with the recommended tests.

Readers, if you ever wondered how Robin Lynn's situation has gotten to where it is, I'd like you to review the record provided to DDS in November of 2017. My writings, contain reference to actual documents - day reports, provided by the group home operator, and then "no more". It could appear that a person, and persons of POWER OVER A DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED PERSON, have caused that person - Robin Lynn to capitulate to saying exactly what the person of power wants them to say, in the exact words of the person of power. Emotional damage? Here is the writing to DDS:
"I told you that within a couple of days of the first Probate Court hearing on August 3, 2017 that Robin had a fall in the house and the assistant house manager (name removed) said to someone within Robin’s hearing “I’m not hurting myself for that”. My notes on my calendar indicate that that occurred on August 6th. I also have a record of sending that same information via US mail, as soon as her court appointed attorney called and introduced herself to me. On the 6th, Robin had called crying and said she had a fall. As I told her she was fine, and I was sure everyone was doing what they could to help her, she wasn’t complaining, but she said “but (name removed) the assistant house manager said "I’m not hurting myself for that.” I don’t think that anyone realizes how much Robin hears in doctor’s appointments, conversations amongst staff, and takes info in at her own level. There are two incident reports in the (house name removed) group home records presented to me that appear to indicate that. This one is page 17 of the attachment labeled C Reports. “Robin was sitting in the living room as we were all getting ready to go into the van. RC began to call my name. I told her to wait until I was done with PC then I would attend to her. All while RED appliances moved. RC began to get up out of chair and fell back into chair several times. RC then got up after I told her to stay in chair several times. RC then got up after I told her not to and fell on the floor. She then began to cry hysterically as she is on the floor she tells me that she is too heavy for me and that I need to call someone to get her off the floor. She hysterically (can’t read word) for at least 45 minutes. She told me it was due to her brace and that it wasn’t her making herself fall into the chair. I informed RC that I (can’t read word) get her off the floor. She cried until the delivery guys left and then started to cry again when someone walked in the house.” Robin has had moments here in our living room and in the car when she keeps coming forward from sitting and falling back. She is aware, and says I can do it, and has fallen after. She had all of our attention, and was exiting the couch or car to do something that was for her benefit. Will someone please look at this scenario on the Internet of people with Tonic/Clonic seizures? Note, she tells (name removed) the assistant house manage she can’t help her she is too heavy. At one time in a phone conversation with house manager (name removed) she relates to me that she has observed the same motions on their couch, and memory of that conversation does not lead to her calling it behavioral. As for the brace piece, she may have blamed the brace, because it was she was having pain and problems, and her claim at the time may have been justified, by a recent orthopedic doctor’s report, that says the brace was a problem and a new one was being made. She takes very literally what she hears. What I really want you to notice is that she has also heard people question her falls, and she feels the need to defend herself , and MOST IMPORTANT she doesn’t use the language we later have on record – “I placed myself on the floor”, or “mom calls them seizures” which we heard L (name removed, but you'll hear about "L" throughout this whole mess) use in court. Who calls L ( name removed) in from the house with the first threats to Robin, “I'll call L (name removed)”. I’m not making accusations, but I’ll bet it is the assistant house manager (name removed) . I don’t have those records, but I expressed my concerns in court about Robin’s fear of “don’t call L”. This record is on page 45 of the C Record attachment, on a sheet labeled (name of operator removed) Group Home Operator Behavior Collection and again it is the house assistant manager (name removed). “Robin was in bedroom sitting on her chair. Staff was with another resident in the bathroom assisting (couldn’t read word). Staff heard a noise and went to RC’s room. She was on the floor hysterically crying for about 20 minutes and continued to stay on the floor. After being asked several times to relax until she was able to move. She attempted to get back on her chair. I couldn’t understand her due to her crying so she was asked to relax in her chair.” Again, Robin heard the assistant house manager say “I’m not hurting myself for that” No one appears to ask how she got on the floor, but it appears she is upset at being there.” In all the emails I sent to (group home operator name removed) prior to the court hearing in August, I say staff has confused Robin. She use to say seizures when she’d call after event, she says falls most of the time now, but hearing staff has caused her to be confused. Where in all the day reports after she leaves the group home (name removed), and gets to group home operator's day program (name removed) – most observed falls, very few unobserved – and your report suggests that they follow her, do you have any other staff written reports, that call for, or document the need to continue group home house staff, often (name removed) assistant house manager, taking her to Dr. S (name removed), even after the court hearing on September 7th, and reporting to the doctor, more behavior falls, and at one point he increases her Zephr, and Robin hears them say that very drug, has the side effects of increasing her falls. It should be noted that in a call to me on the day they increase that med, in talking to me she tells me that they increase the drug, and it could give her more falls. These records are on Pages 68, 69, and 71 of the C Records attachment. The date on all three pages is November 15 – 5 days before what I call an unusual hospitalization. The fall report says she had a seizure, they swiped her, and she immediately got up. They don’t list any behavioral, and there is no scheduled appointment to see Dr. S (name removed). In fact, if you review the scheduled doctor’s appointment sheet provided to me, she is to see Dr. G (name removed) on 11/15/17 - See Attachment labeled C new, page 139. How is it that at 9:00 AM on November 15th, that Robin suddenly is taken to Dr. S, when staff notes a seizure, and they immediately deliver her to a Norwalk Hospital Physiatrist, and house assistant manager (name removed) whose name is on the report goes, and suddenly (group home operator name removed) staff -L, T I (name removed), and C C (name removed) are in the office of Dr. S, and (name removed) assistant house manager is the reporter on the bottom of the report? Another medical record has been invaded. The report is on page 71 as referenced above. “”Doing well other than falls. Continue as ordered. Return appointment 12 weeks. Staff Member attending appointment assistant house manager (name removed). Staff Notes: RC told (L, TI, Dr. S, assistant house manager, CC (present in room) that she only fell once. Dr. S asked her how she fell; she said my mom said they are seizures. RC told everyone that she placed herself on the floor and was aware of her surroundings. No changes in med. Next appointment Feb. 2018”. As Robin reported her day to me on the 15th she told me she had a fall, and she went to an appointment with Dr. S, and she did well – noted on my home calendar. I hope anyone reading this reviews those words noted by the assistant house manager (name removed), and included in the report, who has ever met and talked with Robin, realizes these phrases are real cozy to what a staff who makes claims of attention seeking seizures, using terms like “placed herself on the floor”, and their attorney in court on September 7th uses terms like the “guardian and mom believes,” and “aware of surroundings”, aren’t phrases Robin has used in records of her actions and words. Isn’t it something special that in this very unusual, quickly pulled together setting, that now Robin works in just the right terminology – with all these unusually assembled staff – and it matches their words, not words ever recorded for Robin. It should be noted, that on Tuesday evening the 21st while Robin was in the hospital, and I asked Robin if she saw L, and T I when she saw Dr. S a few days ago? She said yes. I said when you talked to me you told me (name removed) assistant house manager drove you. She said that the assistant house manager did drive her. I asked her if she told them that she placed herself on the floor, and she said yes. I asked her if she places herself on the floor and she said the resounding “NO” that I received when I’ve asked her one other time in the past. She started to cry, and said; “they said I was good when I said that, they said I was good”.
